1. In chapter 5, snake-stick in hand, Moses confronts Pharaoh with Gods demands and ends up getting in deeper weeds. Describe in a nutshell what happened. Have you ever felt like God has asked you to do something and things went poorly? Does this passage help you understand that resistance is not necessarily a sign from God that you should not do something? Can you share something from personal experience?
2. Tuck Exodus 5:2 away in the back of your mind (Pharaohs question- Who is YHWH that I should obey Him?). Make sure to jot done how often God says, He/you shall know that I am YHWH.
